FY26 CoC Program NOFO Released

HUD has officially released the FY26 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program and Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) under opportunity number CPD-2600-DC-0025.

This announcement launches the annual national funding competition to support projects that advance our shared mission of preventing and ending homelessness in our community.

Eligible Applicants

  • State governments

  • County governments

  • City or township governments

  • Special district governments

  • Public and State controlled institutions of higher education

  • Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)

  • Public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities

  • Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized tribal governments)

  • Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education

We encourage all partners to begin reviewing the NOFO and preparing for the local competition. Additional updates, technical assistance opportunities, and required documentation will follow shortly.
